Friends

“Do not put off work…

…for tomorrow”. And why not?

After the warm and cozy holidays, spent mainly with family at home, I am again at work and feel awfully out of place.

Then I saw this and cannot resist to show it to all of you, who believe that work till death is something natural.

Show commitment

I do believe that everyone has its calling.
That he or she has to search for it without rest till the day when will find that the job is not only a job for money or prestige, but it could be a source of pleasure and satisfaction.
What I thinks is that there is no such a job, deserving to neglect yourself, your health, your friends and family or just to forget that work is not the most important thing in life.

*People who put the focus only on carrier will inevitably pay the price, now or later. And this price is always high.
Bad news are that one can realize this only after life slapped him in the face and almost never before something nasty happened.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is wonderful to me this year.
I can take a good rest (without being in hurry for anywhere) and i can notice all my relatives.
I still didn’t greet anybody from my friends – not even on the phone or with text message or however – and we were two days without internet at home, so it was peace and quiet here. ;-)

But now we have internet again, so, for those of you, friends, who are occasionally passing by – greetings with this performance of one of the best and brightest people that i have the joy and honor to know — Enrico Trevisan:

:-) Happy holidays, and don’t eat too much. (it could be worse than the hangover…)

Chaotic

I am so far from posting here lately, but I want to, damn it!

I am trying not very successfully to gather and rearrange my thoughts.
To rearrange somehow the things I want and the things I have to do on the same priority level.
To show here so many things, that I have done so far, that are created by me and I believe you gonna like them, my very few visitors, to like it as much as I do. ;-)

I promise to post something for Halloween tonight.

Till then I wanna share what’s in my ears today:

and that:

Oh, and did I mentioned that I have a tablet already? No?
Well, now I need only some time to get used to it, but will tell you more later about my progress.

Well…it seems when I don’t have enough spare time for creating little stupid things from clay, paper or textile, when I don’t have time to doodle and draw….only the music helps me to find myself.

How is it for you?

Catch 22

Today’s my birthday. 22 of October :-)
And despite I used to upload photos of all of my things made from clay /finished a long ago and some still unfinished/, I just didn’t succeed to.
But I’ll make better photos and will show them here, I promise. :-)

October is my favorite time of the year and is full with gala days for me.
On 9th Michel had also birthday and all day I wanted to greet him from here too, but there was too much work and I missed.
But he did it today for me from his blog, because he is the best man in the world!

Because of him in this rainy Monday I want to put a song here.
This is my greet to you, Michel, because you are you and because you are wonderful and unique:

And for all of you, my friends, the song is this:

Three minutes off

Vice, huh?...Somebody sent me this funny test with images. You can try by yourselves, if you want to check your “visual DNA”. :-)

It says i am – an Easy Rider (wish I was).

Probably every time you do it, the result will be different, depending on your mood at the moment.

But anyway, it’s nice for some tiny distraction. :-)

Thoughts in love

The oldest Valentine card

Puzzle purse Valentine card from c. 1790 that is part of The Postal Museum’s collection. This photograph of the card was taken by a museum photographer in 2011, it is courtesy of the Postal Museum and is used here with permission.

I usually feel very strange about this date. We all know how fictional is this celebration and like it is not the day of love, but the day of all sellers of flowers, balloons, heart-shaped souvenirs and etc.

But hey, if look the matter this way, aren’t all holidays in the year special because we want them to be?

Today I found in the news the oldest valentine at all.

It’s written on it:

“My dear the Heart which you behold,
Will break when you the same unfold,
Even so my heart with lovesick pain,
Sure wounded is and breaks in twain.”

I made a simple translation in Bulgarian, which I posted in the other version of this blog.

This is my way to say Happy Valentine Day to all of us who celebrate Love, not simply this day.

Note (27/Feb/2023): This post was updated with a better copy of the Valentine card.

Whiskey in the jar

Oh, at last. Two whole weeks after the concert of Dublin City Workingman’s Band in Sofia (January 26th, National Palace of Culture, Hall 2) I started to write about my own impressions from the event, mini review or sort of.

This concert was one of the numerous events, dedicated to our acceptance in the European Union. (All that jazz, I little bit annoying, huh?).

{Dublin City Workingman's Band} Lilly of the WestBefore the concert small glasses with Baileys и Bushmills were responsible for ensuring the proper mood for Irish music. First Lilly Drumeva with her band Lilly of the West made some songs, very tender and totally unobtrusive stage performance.

The atmosphere was great, but could not prepare us at all for the following typhoon – the wonderful Workingman’s Band.

Like cats and dogs

ballyAfter almost one week, spent mainly ill, dark and working, I already remembered that I have a blog.

My head is full with ideas for new posts, but somehow every time when I sit in front of the computer I’m start thinking only about work and suddenly my writing inspiration completely evaporate.

Despite this I couldn’t resist the temptation to write about this nice piece of comics (did you click the picture already?), taken from here: Sinfest. This place is dangerous, I am warning you – for few days I was stick to it and checked it all…it made me almost a zombie. :-)

But from all of the characters most friendly I felt the puppy Pooch and the kitty Percival, probably because their relations describe very well the peacefull co-existence of my small family.

Michel, special greets for you. :-)

Music for the soul

heartfishTerrific weather. And a bit terrifying, too.

I am standing here, on the other side of the rain, watching it with love, feeling transported and listening to a wonderful music.

You can also listen to it from here, if you like. She is precious finding to me, called Vienna Teng from Thailand.

While browsing around and jumping from link to link I am getting more and more wonder-struck how many incredible places there are, that I will and I will not visit ever in this life.

How much music that I will hear and I will not, people that I will meet and I won’t, books, movies, pictures…

The weather is strange, that’s probably why I am falling into this weightless mood. Today I feel like dreaming-contemplating-notworking, but! – acumulating creative energy. ;-)

(the picture is made from me, it is called heartfish and it is something like Dive Deep Down Inside)
