Half a year ago, my lovely and unpredictable better-half gave me such a greeting card.
I laughed out loudly, when I first saw it, and it is still on a very honorable place at home. Sometimes I look at it and I smile (mostly because of the comparison).
Edward Monkton’s cards are all wonderful, actually. Look at them closely.
My potatoes’ affection, though, won’t stop just like that. Here is one, adopted recently:
Just look at his placid face, but don’t trust him too much…
Turn my back for only two minutes, and he’ll probably eat the whole cactus… :-)
Even when you are so stuck with work, that you cannot pronounce your own name, you can always rely on somebody’s unexpected help. Good to be reminded that you are supposed to breathe and to look from time to time far from your nose…
Enjoy it, all of you, not-lifting-eyes-from-work robots like me. It will take you no more than the time you need to smoke a cigarette. Only much more pleasant. :-)
Don’t have time to be myself. How stupid this could be?
My Dad likes to tell me – “Kid, everything flows”. Well, he’s practically right. Only…I usually add with bitterness, that it is true, everything flows, even the whole life.
Do you remember those childish phrase – “Stop the Earth, I wanna descend!”?
I was looking for something bright to finish, but don’t feel very bright right now. I feel sulky.

Konstantin Bronzit is a director, which animations you cannot forget easily.
Here is one short movie from 2006, in which a very ordinary love story happens on the most not ordinary place for that.
With kind regards to all the people still looking for their partner. :-)
This ‘CSS Naked Day’ is 24 to 48 hours long, and will show, that a blog or website with well written HTML+CSS can look pretty well even without its clothes (without its CSS styles).
So, if you see my blog without CSS today or tomorrow (without its design), don’t be puzzled by this fact — we ‘stripped of’ our CSS styles for a good cause — and, as you can judge by the photo above (which we made together a few hours ago), not only of our CSS clothes, but also of our real clothes! ;-)
Long live Web Standards! :-D
PS You may also read a story about CSS Naked Day in the Blogherald) ;-)
One need only to have nervous fingers and five minutes rest…to start doing something from paper. I’ve started to make these little angels last year in November in the office.
Few colleagues still have some to make them smile. And even artishock got one. :-)
I love to remind to myself, that life is not only work. I left this cup with stars in my ex-office, only completely full. ;-)
These are very easy to make…if you like them, see how-to. Warning: once you start, you may never stop. :-)
One very special and fairy girl recently showed to me how to make this flower:
