Reunited…
They are BIG, you know?
I thought the concert will never finish. Song after song, FNM were there on the beach of Bourgas, excellence beyond all expectations. All of them perfect, Mike Patton himself – unbelievable!
This time, I cannot say too much. It’s like this when you are simply happy. :-)
It was so beautiful while sometimes his shadow was projected over the giant trees near the stage… Hope somebody took a good picture of this.
The Man With Thousand Voices – he knows perfectly how to please the audience.

Working and editing. Drawing, sleeping and dreaming. Digging up old drawings, memories and thoughts.
Finding unexpected and forgotten things, like these Rabbit Peter’s pictures:
I’ve met for the first time Beatrix Potter and her lovely little friends when I was in high schoold and a classmate gave me her book.
There’s lovely movie about this gorgeous woman, don’t miss it – “Miss Potter” will tell you more about her than I can.
I fell in love with her amazing and delicate illustrations and style. Often tried to redraw them from reference.
Also her name sounds nice to me, so close connected with pottery. ;-)
The bikes are dusted off and wait for us to ride away again…
Well, it needs good health to be able to do every little thing…
There is always somebody who is not happy about the rain. But I think there is no such thing like “bad weather”.
I love the rain. Love it when it wets me down to my bones and reminds me I am alive. Love it when it gently murmurs on the attic window and when makes the pigeons hide under the roof… love it when is angry and is trying to wash out everything that’s not likable – the dirty streets, the gloomy faces of the people… I love it when it plays with the sun rays and when a “bear is getting married”*… merry, sad, tearing or frivolous… there’s no life without rain. There’s no rainbow. :-)
This week’s forecast is for rain, but the thought is not depressing for me, right the opposite.
When people complain about the rain, it is not worried. It knows that people are always complaining – if sun is shining, they’ll mumble it’s too bright or strong and they’ll put on black sunglasses.
But the Little Queen of Rain knows how important she is, so she is just quietly smiling. Her delegate knows well his work… knows where is needed and expected.
When I consider how to turn an idea into a picture or a thing, it seems the time stops… or at least loses limitation.
I am drawing very intense lately. Remembering forgotten pleasures. Remembering how extremely good is the feeling of timelessness.
I like it, because I am usually such a paranoid person… always in a hurry, always in worry for not to be late. I have to learn how to be slower. :-)

* You may be interested to know more about this expression in other countries and languages?
In many English-speaking countries there is a word for this phenomenon and it is “sunshower”.
But in all languages there is an expression, associated with animal and wedding or birthday.
For example, in Southwest England, Finland, Japan, Malaysia and Portugal they say “fox wedding”, or “the fox is getting married”.
In some parts of Italy – “the fox is making love”, in Korea they say “fox rain”, in South Africa and elsewhere you can hear it as “the monkey birthday” or “monkey’s wedding”.
In Arabic “the rats are getting married”, but in other languages you can meet jackals (Hindi), tigers (Korean), witches (Spanish), poor people (Greek) or even the devil himself (English, Dutch, Hungarian and German).
I guess the fox alone was able to cross the world and reach from Japan to Armenia. ;-) :-)
First try to make “soft” picture… Not very good, I’m afraid, mostly because I messed the sewing technique, but next time will make it better. :-)
I like the little cockerel, though. Every morning it makes me smile.
I love to find new ways to use some things from the house. Just recently I wanted to make something from felt, but I didn’t have any, so I just thought I could use some kitchen towels. It worked out well:
You can use them to apply or sew on cards or bags or whatever you want. I still didn’t use them, indeed. :-)
And these are (or were) some mini-cakes, made last month. I remembered them now, as I’m craving for something sweet:
They are so easy to make – like a piece of cake. ;-)
Every little piece of fabric could become alive. It only needs some imagination.
I was always very fond of handmade toys.
On places like etsy.com one can find amazing things – and of course, not only toys.
I am warning the novices there – you could spend days browsing. ;-)
Here I can show you one I’ve made, who even doesn’t know what kind of creature is:
And another rabbit. This one is particularly proud with his big ears, able to bend different ways when he is moody.
What’s left to say about his belt buckle? A rare vintage one. :-)
Here they are, standing gently for a family portrait, together with the last year’s mouse. :-)
Oh, and what about this cat? You probably think now “But we’ve already seen this guy”? Well, not really. This one is the almost-twin-brother of Alfons, and the difference between two of them are the bigger eyes on this one and his age – a week later he came. He is also very unsuspecting and ingenuous. I’ve made him especially as a gift to my mother, because every time when she sees me making something from fabric or clay, she ask with a very innocent voice: “And for whom are you making this now?”
I even don’t know how she named him, but I will surely ask.
;-)
I remember the times when every free minute meant for us to grab the bikes and go on traveling adventures outside Sofia.
Nice, but didn’t happen for a long time. Michel is still ill, and this is going on for more than ten days.
Even Batman himself couldn’t help in this case, despite sending to us all week his own branded lemons:
From solidarity I am at home too, saving the people around from the flu virus, so all I can do is looking around and finding old and new things that could show in my blog. Like this greeting, good for Twitter-fans:
I don’t write lately, but not because I don’t have what to say.
It’s much more like I don’t know how to say it and also that I feel too tired of the computer.
Too many things happened, indeed, but I will post about them separately.
Holidays were absorbing at home during long cozy nights with family and friends.
I hid for to gather my thoughts better and for start making things, long postponed.
Now I am still accumulating energy for a fresh start.
I need some changes, nice changes, starting with this site.
The rest will come one by one.
:-)
That’s the common wish these days.
You can hear people saying it on the streets, in the shops, online… the same old sentence, but for sure the meaning it’s not the same for everybody.
Is it easy to make the people you love happy?
I like very much to make presents.
Always choosing very carefully, concerning the recipient.
But this Christmas for the first time I got one gift rejected (not a good feeling at all).
During the years I’ve received many stupid, not useful things – presents that I didn’t like or want.
But never I refused to take them.
I think that accepting things is as important as to give things. Maybe even more important.
For it is wonderful to give from yourself, but is more valuable to know how to accept from the others.
I am also still learning…
Truth is, for many, many people these days are neither happy or holidays.
For me, “holiday” and “feast” are words that mean to dance, to sing, to play games, to exchange gifts.
But in my country the “tradition” seems to be to spend the holidays at home, around the table and in front of the TV.
After them everybody is groaning and moaning and is feeling bad from too much food and drink, and I am sure that only a few people will do something different.
But there is one more thing – I believe, that the holiday spirit comes from the people, not from the date in the calendar.
So, Internet, that’s my greeting:
Have unforgettable holidays – let them be the way you want to make them!
Оh, and that’s what I did for my brother, wishing him own sweet home:
Yes, my day. I love the whole October – best time of the year.
The day is so bright with all the kind people smiling and calling to wish me nice things, that I would like to ask if it could be like this every day. ;-)
Feel happy, so i wanted to share few music greetings from me to all of the nice people out there:
