Kunstdrom :-)
Monday, February 22nd, 2010I found recently an interesting (at least to me) artist and I cannot resist to promote him here a bit.
I already am the happy owner of these little gems:
At first I guessed that Kunstdrom is just a nickname. In his online shop the author – Nikolay Petkov is saying about his own work:
“Kunstdrom is a unique blend of digital drawings and illustrations, an extraordinary mixture of neo-expressionism, pop art and Japanese comics. “. He travels a lot, speaks several languages and currently is studying Japanese.
Then I wanted to learn a bit more and I found that Kunstdrom has developed into a bigger art-project – a project for publishing digital art from Bulgarian artists. The focus is building digital galleries for iPhone/iPod, but also promoting the authors for printing products over online print-shops. Very soon prints would be able to be ordered directly from kunstdrom.com.
If you have an iPhone, you can download FREE Niki’s paintings from here.
P.S. I just heard that in the middle of March a second gallery for iPhone is going to be online and it promise to be even sexier.
This rain cannot last forever

Friday, May 15th, 2009Finally!!! Will survive the postponed gig of Depeche Mode, most important now is Dave Gahan to get well. But will look forward for Mike Patton & Co to compensate me!
If somebody still doesn’t know, here is the news.

(and I love the city of Bourgas so much that I even think of moving there one day)
Have another one, I’ve got excited:
Who cares a lot? We care a lot!

Friday, May 8th, 2009Days of inspiration and thoughts
Thursday, April 9th, 2009Working and editing. Drawing, sleeping and dreaming. Digging up old drawings, memories and thoughts.
Finding unexpected and forgotten things, like these Rabbit Peter’s pictures:
I’ve met for the first time Beatrix Potter and her lovely little friends when I was in high schoold and a classmate gave me her book.
There’s lovely movie about this gorgeous woman, don’t miss it – “Miss Potter” will tell you more about her than I can.
I fell in love with her amazing and delicate illustrations and style. Often tried to redraw them from reference.
Also her name sounds nice to me, so close connected with pottery.
The bikes are dusted off and wait for us to ride away again…
Well, it needs good health to be able to do every little thing…
