There is this new software called Gravit Designer. It is a browser-based app for vector illustration and UI design. I am testing it from time to time, for it is still under development, but looks very handy and promising.
Here is their logo (I do not know the author?):
At one point last year, while fooling around with the logo of Gravit and trying to do something fun with it (for the sole purpose of fun), this happened:
…and then it changed and evolved into that:
And here is the GIF version:
The team behind Gravit liked this second little fellow enough to call it Gravil and choose it for their official mascot. So I am quite proud with the progress of this little baby. Gravil even made it to new York city in life-size version! :-) Wish him luck!
Oh, and I strongly recommend you to try Gravit Designer — you will enjoy its features and the ease with which it can be used. :-)
Many people already caught this disease, but my case seems to be very bad. Or it’s not a disease, despite being contagious – it’s more likely a way to deal with stress, which I have a lot, don’t let me say on a permanent basis. Nixo and Michel are contributing to the project, too.
I will show you here the last picture of mine, which I like the most:
Here you can see all of my pigs (16 so far) and don’t forget to check the link from time to time. There’s no doubt that this number will grow. ;-)
There is this strange site – it’s called “Dueling banjo pigs”. Two nice people – Stacy and Guy, will welcome every illustration of a pig with a banjo. Nixo showed me the site a long time ago and I was thinking about it, but only recently sent them a doodle. Certainly will try to make a better one some day.
This was just a joke with Michel and his version of the classic Batman logo.
I uploaded it few days ago in Twitter – last pic is actually the logo of the Bulgarian National Railway Company. ;-)
In the beginning, this charming little chair was not at all very appealing.
It was old, scratchy, dirty and lonely.
This kind of “projects” attract many assistants by the old principle of “Tom Sawyer and the fence”.
Some white paint, decoupage glue, nice paper serviettes motives and enthusiasm and that’s the result:
I kinda like it, even if it is far from perfect.
It was fun to make and it makes me smile when I look at it now.
Probably every house can make a good use of one of these. It’s comfy when you are putting on your shoes, you could use it to reach most of the shelves at home, and it’s priceless if you have children to play with it.
Me and my husband just love the lights of candles. Therefore our home is full of candlesticks of all kinds, but it seems there is never enough of them, so I’ve made some more from jars:
It’s easy to do them even without being a decoupage-guru. All you need is a jar, paper napkin with nice design, some C-200 glue and some free time.
